Machine must be picked up within two weeks of the sale end. Just give this one a wash and it’s ready to show right away. You will see this is true when you go to the tractor shows and see what’s around for sale. The asking price is more than fair for this machine especially considering what I see others are paying much more around the tractor shows for similar machines, many in half as good shape as this one. This Speedcat needs nothing but a new owner, and is being sold as-is, as shown. I am only reluctantly parting with this machine at this time, after owning it for 3 years, because of personal family reasons. I didn’t like getting it dirty, but if you intend to work with it you will be very happy with what it can do. It is truly a head turner wherever you take it, and fun to show and play with at tractor shows, fairs, parades, which is what I did with it, or even just around the yard. This machine would be a great start or addition to your collection. I think it is safe to say these are pretty rare. You don't see many of these around anymore, especially in this condition. It runs great, and operates the way it should. Overall the Speedcat is in very good to excellent condition. The tracks are in very good shape with all new pins as the photos show. There is a padded cover over the original steel seat for both looks and operator comfort. I have both operators and parts manuals and will be included. 900 lb load to a height of over 8 ft, as you can see in the photo, so is able to load 1 ton dump trucks and dump trailers easily. The hydraulic arms have down pressure for digging, and the bucket is also hydraulic. Transmission shifts and operates smoothly with no issues. It has a three speed gear box, plus reverse, and hi/low range in all gears. Electric starter could very easily be added, if desired. It starts with 1 or 2 easy pulls, so the rope start works out just fine. The motor runs beautifully and does not smoke. I am not sure of the horsepower, but I seem to remember when I called Wisconsin Motors with the engine # they told me 15 hp. It has the tried and true, old reliable workhorse, Wisconsin engine in it. Size: it fits perfectly inside my Ford F250 short bed pickup box (with tailgate down). Machine was completely gone over and restored 3 years ago with new parts as needed, clutch, bearings, all new hydraulic hoses, most fittings, majority of all nuts and bolts as well, and complete new paint in original style. These little crawlers were built like little tanks, and built to stand up to heavy work. It is small, but very heavy duty, and will do a lot of work, as good as any modern machine in its’ category. A super vintage collector piece for show or work! It is a small machine about the size of a standard garden tractor, similar in size to the old Agricat loaders from the 50's or newer Magnatrac loaders made here in Wisconsin. Up for sale is my 1950’s/early 60’s Mead Speedcat tracked mini loader.
